| Our vision at Academy of Nail Technology & Esthetics is to provide our students with the education and training needed to become State Licensed and proficient for employment in salons, spas, medical offices, educators, etc. This is a 600-hour course that prepares the student for the State Board exam. During the course, you will have both theory and practical studies. Products We Use: We use all major name brand products at our school. We use Dermalogica, PCA Skin for our Chemical Peels and Jane Iredale for our make up. Although these are the products in your kit and what you will use in school, you are not limited to just learning these brands. We have many opportunities to learn about different skin care lines, equipment and specialty training. If you are going to be working somewhere that wants to use a specific product, we can do our best to accomadate you to get some training for you on that brand. We are always having manufacturers in to the school to train on the latest products, technology and specialties. Here is a list of some of the classes that we have had training with-

In July 2012 our schedule will adjust to the following-
T, W, R, F: 8:30am-3:30pm Saturday 8am-4pm
We follow the school calendar for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and close for all holidays and breaks just as that school system does. We do not close for teacher workdays. Remainder paid in monthly installments. Part Time Day students pay 6 payments of $850.00 per month. Part Time Alternate students pay 12 payments of $425.00 per month.
We do not offer financial aid.
Uniform: Esthetics students have a uniform of white scrub tops and black scrub pants while in school. You will be required to purchase a name tag with your name, the schools name, and stating you are a student. These can be purchased at Office Max, Staples, Trophy shops, etc.
Graduation Requirements:
- Complete 600 hours of school.
- Complete all performances and hand in Performance Sheet.
- Complete make up portfolio and hand in.
- Complete all tests and 3 final exams.
- Pay in full.
